𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

In commemoration of World Sickle Cell Day, the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society – Kono Branch demonstrated its commitment to saving lives by donating 30 units of blood to support patients living with sickle cell disease.

The life-saving donation included contributions from 17 male and 13 female blood donors, reflecting the power of community solidarity and the importance of voluntary blood donation in helping those in urgent need.

Through this humanitarian action, the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society continues to promote the culture of blood donation and stand with vulnerable communities, ensuring that patients have access to the support they need.
