The fake email currently identified is:bidders@redcross-int.org Or any address related to redcross-int.org
These individuals are falsely claiming to conduct procurement and bidding processes on behalf of the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society.
PLEASE NOTE:
• The domain “redcross-int.org” is NOT an official Sierra Leone Red Cross Society domain.
• SLRCS has no connection whatsoever with this email address or any procurement activity linked to it.
• Members of the public are strongly advised NOT to send money, quotations, banking information, or confidential documents to this address.
The matter is being escalated to relevant cybercrime and internet authorities for investigation and takedown.
